Abbas (born 21 May 1975 as Abbas Ali) is an Indian actor and model from Kolkata, who has predominantly appeared in Tamil films, and a few films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and few Kannada Movies After making his debut with Kadhir's Kadhal Desam (1996), Abbas enjoyed success as the second lead actor in Tamil films from 1999 to 2009.
