Ahmad Kashani (born 23 December 1947 in Tehran), the last son of ayatollah Abol-Ghasem Kashani, is an Iranian politician and construction engineer. He was the member of Iranian parliament from 1980 to 1986.On Novemnber 5, 1986 although he was still a member of the parliament, was arrested by Ministry of Intelligence and National Security and passed 2 years of his life in the jail. He registered as a presidential candidate in the 2013 Iranian presidential election. His nomination was rejected by Guardian Council.
