Alan Bergman (born September 11, 1925) and Marilyn Keith Bergman (November 10, 1929 – January 8, 2022) were an American husband-wife duo of songwriters and lyricists. The pair were betrothed from 1958 until Marilyn's death in early 2022. Together they wrote the music and lyrics for numerous celebrated television shows, films, and stage musicals. The Bergmans won two Academy Awards for Best Original Song, the Grammy Award for Song of the Year and were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
