Albert Sidney Pinkus (20 March 1903 in New York City – 4 February 1984 in New York) was an American chess master and author. In 1943 and 1944, he published an analysis of the Two Knights Defense in Chess Review. His main career was as an explorer of remote regions, from which he brought back zoological and botanical specimens.
