Alberto Benavides de la Quintana (October 20, 1920 – February 12, 2014), was prominent Peruvian businessman and engineer, famous for founding the "Buenaventura Mining Company". He was the first Peruvian to graduate from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, in 1944. He was given the "Harvard Lifetime Achievement Award" in 2011, by the Board of Directors of the Harvard Club of Peru.
