Alex Band (born June 8, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as the vocalist for the Los Angeles-based rock band the Calling. He performed their hit song "Wherever You Will Go," which topped the Adult Top 40 for 23 weeks, making it the second-longest-running number one single in the chart's history. Furthermore, it was later named the number one song of the 2000s decade on the Adult Pop Charts by Billboard.
