Alexander English (born January 5, 1954) is an American retired basketball player and coach. He played at the University of South Carolina and was drafted in the second round in 1976. He played for four NBA teams. After retiring from playing, he started coaching. Most recently, he was an assistant coach with the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
