Aleksandr Leonovich Kemurdzhian (Russian: Александр Леонович Кемурджиан; Armenian: Ալեքսանդր Քեմուրջյան; October 4, 1921 – February 25, 2003) was a Soviet Armenian mechanical engineer who worked at the VNIITransmash institute for the most of the second half of the 20th century. He is best known for designing Lunokhod 1, the first ever planetary rover for space exploration.
