Alexander Murray of Elibank (9 December 1712 – 27 February 1778), generally called Count Murray after 1759, was a British Army officer and Jacobite agent. He gave his name to the Elibank Plot, a 1752 scheme to kidnap George II of Great Britain and restore the exiled House of Stuart.
