Alexis Tsipras (Greek: Αλέξης Τσίπρας, born 28 July 1974) is a Greek politician serving as Leader of the Majority Opposition since 2019. The leader of left-wing party Syriza since 2009, he served as Prime Minister of Greece from 2015 to 2019.
