Alfred Ambs (22 January 1923 – 30 March 2010) was a German Luftwaffe fighter ace during World War II. He was born in Gladbeck. Ambs is credited with 7 aerial victories achieved in about 75 combat missions on the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter.
