Amir Mir is a veteran Pakistani journalist who is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of googlynews.tv/ a digital media project. Earlier till 2019, he was working as Chief Operational Officer of the news channel GNN as well as its founding member since the channel's inception in August 2018. Prior to this, he has worked as COO with JAAG TV, as Group Editor with Daily Dunya and Deputy Editor/Editor Investigations for the English-language Pakistani daily The News International, based in Lahore. Amir Mir founded and was editor of Weekly Independent a political weekly magazine, from Lahore.
