April Severin
About
April A. Severin is the author of seven chapbooks, and three greeting cards. She is a League of Canadian Poets Associate member. Her poetry and interviews have been aired on CFMU, CIUT, and Aboriginal Voices Radio. She has made presentations at Brantford’s Pauline Johnson Collegiate & Vocational School, Hamilton’s Glendale Secondary School and Mohawk College, and a University of Toronto native literature class. She has tracks on the Keepers of the Sacred Fire and Hammered Out Live CD’s. April has read at numerous venues including Hamilton’s Lit Live, Toronto’s Art Bar Poetry Reading Series, Eden Mills Writers' Festival, and World Literacy of Canada's KAMA Reading Series.April has won honourable mentions from The Ontario Poetry Society and CAGED.
