Ashiq Hussain Faktoo (also known as Mohammad Qasim) is a Kashmiri separatist leader who wants separation of Indian administered state Jammu and Kashmir from India and its unification with Pakistan. He was top-ranking commander of Hizbul Mujahideen which is designated as terrorist organisation by India and the US. As of May 2015 he is in jail since 1993 over the murder charge of human rights activist H.N Wanchoo. His wife Asiya Andrabi is also a separatist leader and chairperson of Islamist organisation Dukhtaran-e-Millat.
