Awashonks (also spelled Awashunckes, Awashunkes or Awasoncks) was a female sachem (chief) of the Sakonnet Indian tribe in Seconet, Rhode Island. She signed the Plymouth Agreement of 1671. She supported Metacomet during King Philip's War, but later made peace with the English colonists.
