William Byron Lee (born October 9, 1959) is an American politician, businessman, cattle farmer, and former mechanical engineer. A member of the Republican Party, Lee has served as the 50th governor of Tennessee since 2019. Before entering politics, he held various positions at the Lee Company, a business operated by his family; he was its president and chief executive officer from 1992 to 2016.
