William John "Bill" Pendergast (13 April 1915 – May 2001) was a Welsh professional footballer who played as a forward in the Football League for Bristol Rovers, Chester and New Brighton. He was also on the books at Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but failed to break into the first-team. He also spent time at Crewe Alexandra and Wrexham as an amateur.
