Robert John Baker (26 July 1939 – November 2021) was a British television and film writer. He was best known for working on the original run of Doctor Who and being the co-writer (with Nick Park) of the Wallace and Gromit films The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and A Matter of Loaf and Death (in which a character (Baker Bob) is named after him).
