Robert Mandt Homme, C.M. ( HUM-mee; March 8, 1919 – May 2, 2000), more popularly known as Bob Homme, was an American-born television actor, best known as the host of The Friendly Giant, a popular Canadian children's television program from the 1950s through the 1980s, which was broadcast on CBC Television.
