Brandon Kyle Belt (born April 20, 1988) is an American professional baseball first baseman for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball for San Jacinto College and the University of Texas at Austin. The Giants selected Belt in the fifth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut during the 2011 season. Belt stands 6 feet 4 inches (193 cm) tall and weighs 235 pounds (107 kg). He was a member of the 2012 World Series and 2014 World Series championship teams with the Giants, and a 2016 All Star. Belt has also filled in in left field for the Giants.
