Bruce Robert Jacob (born March 26, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois) was Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida during the early 1960s. He represented the state in the Supreme Court case Gideon v. Wainwright, arguing that Clarence Earl Gideon, an indigent, poorly educated man charged with a felony, had no right to be provided with counsel.
