Prince Burhaneddin Cem Efendi (February 2, 1920, Beşiktaş, Istanbul – October 31, 2008, New York City, United States) was the heir apparent to the headship of the Ottoman dynasty. He was born at Beşiktaş, Istanbul as the son of Prince Ibrahim Tevfik (1874–1931) and his fourth wife Hadice Sadiye Hanim (1898–1986). Prince Burhaneddin was a descendant of Sultan Abdülmecid I. He married Irene Starosselskaya of Russian–Georgian noble descent (born 1928) and had two children, Nilüfer Sultan (born 1953) and Şehzade Selim Efendi (1955).
