Byrganym Sarykyzy Aitimova (Kazakh: Birǵanym Saryqyzy Áıtimova, born 26 February 1953) served as the ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United Nations from 2007 to 2013. Prior to her appointment as UN ambassador, she served as the Minister of Education and Science from 2004 until Zhanseit Tuymenbayev replaced her on 10 January 2007. She served as Kazakhstan's ambassador to Italy from 2002 to 2004, and ambassador to Israel from 1996 to 2002.
