Carole Mathews (born Jean Deifel, also credited Jeanne Francis; September 13, 1920 – November 6, 2014) was an American film and television actress. Her longest-running role was as the 37-year-old widow Wilma Fansler in the 1958-1959 season of the NBC Western television series The Californians.
