Priscilla Marie Winans Love, known professionally as CeCe Winans, (born October 8, 1964) is an American gospel singer. Known as the Queen of the Gospel Music genre and the best-selling and most-awarded gospel artist of all time, selling more than 17 million records worldwide, CeCe Winans has long since cemented her status as one of the most accomplished and celebrated women in modern music history. In her illustrious career, CeCe has amassed a total of 12 GRAMMY Awards, 21 Dove Awards, 13 Stellar Awards, 8 Soul Train Music Awards, 7 NAACP Image Awards, 3 BMI Awards including 2 Trailblazer of BMI Awards, 3 Essence awards, 2 BET Awards, a star on the Nashville Hall of Fame and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as well as host of other awards and honors to her credit. Since the early 1980s, CeCe Winans has been the most commercially success gospel artist across multiple markets since Mahalia Jackson, crossing charts and entering spaces very few gospel artists have gone while influencing new generations of well-known gospel and secular artists.
