Clell Lee Metcalf (25 March 1888 in Lakeville – 21 August 1948) was an American entomologist who specialised in Diptera. He worked on treatises on the Syrphidae of Maine and wrote a major work on insect pests along with Wesley Pillsbury Flint while teaching at the University of Illinois.
