Cornelius Dennis "Mad Dog" Madigan (October 4, 1934 — January 2, 2024) was a Canadian retired professional ice hockey defenceman. He played 20 games in the National Hockey League with the St. Louis Blues during the 1972–73 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1955 to 1976, was spent in the minor leagues. Madigan is notable for being the oldest rookie in NHL history, aged 38. He portrayed Ross "Mad Dog" Madison in the movie Slap Shot (1977).
