Cynthia Perrin Schneider (born August 16, 1953) is an American diplomat. She was born in Pennsylvania, United States. She studied Fine Arts at Harvard University, where she received her bachelor's degree in 1977 and her doctorate in 1984. With her husband Thomas J. Schneider, she has two children. She was the 61st United States Ambassador to the Netherlands from June 29, 1998 to June 17, 2001. Cynthia P.Schneider speaks Dutch, French, Italian, and German languages.
