Dale Bader
About
Dale Bader (born 1978) is a degreed meteorologist for WAAY-TV in Huntsville, Alabama. Dale attended Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology at Saint Louis University and received a degree in Aeronautics with a major in meteorology in 2000. While attending Parks College, he was active with the local and student chapter of the American Meteorological Society and worked as a meteorological assistant for Surface Systems, Inc. After graduation, Dale became a staff meteorologist with Surface Systems, Inc. and provided weather forecasts to several industries including: aviation, construction, utility, transportation and radio. While working for Surface Systems, Inc, Dale became an expert on the use of Road Weather Information Systems to enhance safe travel. Dale enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. Bader has worked at WAAY-TV in Huntsville, Alabama since January 2009. Dale is also known as "Doppler Dale" and is the creator of Doppler Dale's Weather Posts, a blog site dedicated to providing up-to-date weather information and forecasts for the eastern United States.
