Dave Epstein
About
Dave Epstein is a meteorologist for WCVB-TV in Boston, Massachusetts. and member of the American Meteorological Society. He has been an on-air meteorologist for more than twenty (20) years. He was awarded the AMS Seal of Approval in 1991. In 2006 he received the Ronald J. Prokopy Award for individuals who have provided exceptional support of Massachusetts agriculture. In 2008 he published his first book Dave Epstein has been on-air at WCVB-TV, the local American Broadcasting Company (ABC) affiliate in Boston, since 1992. He began his television career in Burlington, Vermont at WVNY, which no longer has a local newscast. He then went to Hartford, Connecticut, where he was one of the first employees of The New England Weather Service (part of the Chase Corporation, which owned WTIC Radio and Television), where he remained until 1992, when he took the job in Boston.
