David Wilson Jolly (born October 31, 1972) is an American attorney, former lobbyist and the U.S. Representative for Florida's 13th congressional district. A Republican, he previously served as general counsel to his predecessor, U.S. Rep. Bill Young. He won the race for Young's seat as the Republican candidate in a 2014 special election against Democrat Alex Sink and Libertarian Lucas Overby. On July 20, 2015 Jolly announced that he is giving up his seat to run for the Senate seat being vacated by Marco Rubio in 2016.
