David Schmidtz (born 1955) is a Canadian-American philosopher serving as Kendrick Professor of Philosophy (College of Social and Behavioral Sciences) and Eller Chair of Service-Dominant Logic (College of Management) at the University of Arizona, and editor-in-chief of the journal Social Philosophy and Policy. He was also the inaugural head of the Department of Political Economy and Moral Science at the University of Arizona.
