DeMeco Ryans (born July 28, 1984) is an American football coach and former linebacker who is the inside linebackers coach for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Alabama, and received unanimous All-American honors. He was selected by the Houston Texans in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, and was recognized as the AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2006. He was selected to two Pro Bowls before being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012, where he spent four seasons.
