Derek Armstrong (born April 23, 1973) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. Armstrong used to be head coach of the disbanded Central Hockey League's Denver Cutthroats. He is best known for his time in the National Hockey League, where he played for the New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings and the St. Louis Blues.
