Benedicto Dimaculangan Tuazon (born 11 July 1773 Lubao, Pampanga / died 16 July 1883 Bacolor, Pampanga) also known as Apung Bito,one of the illustrados or in Spanish it means for "erudite," "learned," or "enlightened ones" , who also constituted the Filipino educated class during the Spanish colonial period in the late 19th century. He was the illegitimate son of Don Antonio Tuason, the Grand Patriarch of the Tuason Family of the Philippines and of Doña Dolores Bondoc Dimaculangan y Pineda y Guiang y Galang also known as Apung Loleng, a poor Campampangan Chinese mestiza laundry girl from Binondo, Manila.
