Edward Siegfried Hengel (September 16, 1855-November 4, 1927) was a Major League Baseball manager for the Chicago Browns/Pittsburgh Stogies of the Union Association in 1884. He was the 1st manager of the team and compiled a record of 34-39 in 74 games before he was fired and replaced by Joe Battin. He also managed the Chicago team of the Western Association in 1888 and played for the Hamilton team of the Tri-State League in 1889.
