Edwin Floriman Taylor (June 22, 1931 – April 22, 2025) was an American physicist known for his contributions to the teaching of physics. Taylor was editor of the American Journal of Physics, and author of several introductory books to physics. In 1998 he was awarded the Oersted Medal for his contributions to the teaching of physics.
