Farideh Lashai (فریده لاشایی, also Romanized as Farideh Lāshāyī; 1944 – February 24, 2013) was an Iranian painter. She was born in Rasht, Iran. She was also a writer and translator. Her foremost book is Shal Bamu. She is renowned for her abstract contemporary paintings, which are a combination of traditional and contemporary views of nature.
