Florence Ada Stoney (1870 – 7 October 1932) was an Irish physician who was the first female radiologist in the United Kingdom. She was born in Dublin, Ireland, to a distinguished family; her father was the physicist George Johnstone Stoney. After obtaining an MD at the London School of Medicine for Women in 1898, Stoney went on to specialize in radiology. She was responsible for the organisation of the X-Ray department at the Royal Free Hospital and later became head of the electric department at the New Hospital for Women. In 1906 she set up a practice in Harley Street.
