Gururaja Shyamacharya Amur (Kannada: ಜಿ. ಎಸ್. ಆಮೂರ; 8 May 1925 - 28 September 2020), a professor of literature, was a contemporary writer and critic in the Kannada and English languages. He was a recipient of many prestigious awards including the Central Sahitya Akademi Award instituted by the Government of India.
