Gary Galen Glick (May 14, 1930 – February 11, 2015) was a professional American football safety who played six seasons in the National Football League before he concluded his career in the American Football League for one season. He was the first overall selection in the 1956 NFL Draft and the only defensive back to be picked first overall in all NFL drafts (1936 to 2020). Glick attended Colorado State University, where he starred at quarterback and linebacker and also served as a place-kicker.
