Geordie S. Kinnear (born July 9, 1973 in Simcoe, Ontario) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman and current head coach of the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League. He played 4 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Atlanta Thrashers in the 1999–00 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1993 to 2001, was mainly spent in the minor American Hockey League. After retiring he turned to coaching, and was named head coach of Springfield in 2016.
