George Percy Harker (12 February 1878 – 15 April 1957) was an Australian scientist and inventor. He spent his professional career alternating between teaching and chemical research. Harker published over a dozen research articles in the field of chemistry and was a Fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute. He was the inventor of a patented system of extinguishing fires at sea and fumigation.
