Grimanesa Amorós (born 1962 in Lima, Peru) is an interdisciplinary Peruvian-American artist known for her large-scale light sculpture installations. Amorós researches the installation sites, and her works incorporate lighting, video, and sculpture to create site-specific installations. Amorós often draws upon Peruvian cultural legacies for inspiration for her work. She has exhibited in Mexico, Tel Aviv, Beijing, and New York's Times Square.
