Harry Parry (possibly from the Darlington, South Carolina area) was a NASCAR Grand National race car owner who employed the late Ray Platte for the 1955 Southern 500 only. Parry never bothered to employ race car drivers for another race because he only won $100 ($820.2 in today's money) for his attempt as a NASCAR owner. The only evidence of him being an owner exists in the Racing Reference website; the official NASCAR website only holds information recorded in the year 1975 or later. That criteria blocks out all pre-modern and some modern era drivers and owners as a result. Very little vital statistics were recorded about him and his colleagues because the process of collecting information was less formal back then.
