Heather Marie Boushey (born 1970) is an American economist. She is the president and CEO of the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, a non-profit research and grantmaking organization dedicated to advancing evidence-backed ideas and policies that promote strong, stable, and broad-based economic growth. She has also served as an economist for the Center for American Progress and the United States Congress Joint Economic Committee. In 2016, it was announced that Boushey would have served as Chief Economist of Hillary Clinton's presidential transition team had she won.
