Prof Hector Munro Macdonald OBE FRS FRAS FRSE LLD (19 January 1865 – 16 May 1935) was a Scottish mathematician, born in Edinburgh in 1865. He researched pure mathematics at Cambridge University after graduating from Aberdeen University with an honours degree.
