Hegesias of Magnesia (Greek: Ἡγησίας ὁ Μάγνης, Hēgēsias ho Magnēs), Greek rhetorician, and historian, flourished about 300 BC. Strabo (xiv. 648), speaks of him as the founder of the florid Asiatic style of composition.
