Henok Mebratu (ሄኖክ መብራቱ) is an independent Ethiopian filmmaker born and raised in Addis Ababa. His background was computer science, which introduced him to graphics design... then to computer animation and game development. In a recent interview, he says "...after years of messing around, I found my passion to be story telling and teaching." Henok has worked on hundreds of TV Ads, a dozen documentaries, a couple of TV Shows and 5 feature films. In 2012, he was among the three winning Ethiopian filmmakers who were selected to participate at the Cannes film festival. Currently, Henok is working on a TV show entitled Action.
