John Henry Seadlund (July 27, 1910-July 14, 1938) was a 27-year-old woodsman, executed by the United States Federal Government in Illinois for the kidnapping of Charles Sherman Ross. Seadlund killed Ross and his accomplice James Atwood Gray to pocket ransom money, he was charged for kidnapping Ross.
